Q1 — What's the point of an air quality monitor?
Most indoor air problems are invisible. You can't see fine particles, you can't smell CO₂, and your nose stops registering a room's smell within about a minute of walking into it — which is why the one room guests notice is the one you've stopped noticing.

A monitor replaces the guessing with a number. It tells you which room in your house is actually the problem. It tells you whether the purifier you bought is doing anything, because a purifier's own sensor sits inside the machine, reading air it has already cleaned. It shows you what cooking does to a kitchen, what a closed bedroom door does overnight, and how fast an open window fixes either.

None of that requires a specialist. It requires a number you didn't have before — and then the fix is usually free.

Q2 — How accurate are the readings?

Each unit is calibrated at the factory, so it's ready to read the moment you switch it on. Particle readings use an optical laser sensor; gas readings use dedicated sensors for each channel. Like any consumer monitor, it's built to show you meaningful changes in a room — a number climbing while you cook, or falling after you open a window — rather than to serve as laboratory instrumentation. Give it about a minute in a new room to settle before you trust the reading.

Q3 — Setup and calibration

None. Switch it on and the readings appear. There's no app to install, no account to create, no pairing, no subscription. The screen shows every reading at once, with colour bands under each so you can tell at a glance whether a number is normal or worth looking into.
